Pastor of Worship and Family Ministry
I joined Our Redeemer in 2019 as a pastoral resident and now serve as Pastor of Worship and Family Ministry. I grew up in the area, and attended Moody Bible Institute for my undergraduate degree (2010). My wife, Sara, and I have been married since 2010 and have grown into a family of six! Sara is a homeschool mom who graduated from Saginaw Valley State University (2011). She enjoys delicious coffee, reading good books, and walking the trails at the Chippewa Nature Center. Some of my favorite things are: anything music, recording the “No Perfect Dad” podcast, road trips with the family, getting to know people’s stories, and walking around Midland.
I started following Christ the summer before my sophomore year of high school, met Sara shortly after, and we have served in the church in many ways since. I have a heart to see The Great Commission fulfilled, especially through the lenses of Titus 2:1-8 (seeing the young and old coming together in discipleship) and Ephesians 4:1-16 (equipping the saints for the work of ministry in order that the church would thrive in unity).
Elder
Tim grew up in central Iowa. He and his wife Connie have two daughters and have been married since 1973. Tim has been a part of the Our Redeemer Family since 1993
Elder
Scott and Bethany both grew up in the Midland area and began dating in high school. Married in 1985, they have three adult children and six grandchildren. Scott is a Process Safety Engineer at a large local chemical company, while Beth is a retired RN and is a certified health coach. They enjoy spending time with their kids & grandkids and taking trips on their motorcycle.
Scott and Beth began attending Our Redeemer in early 2014, and have been serving on the Elder Board since 2018. Scott has a passion to see people grow in relationship with God and each other, and Beth loves Jesus and people.
